CLU SEEd Project Garden – Social Media

Made with Adobe Photoshop, October 2019 – April 2020.

My primary job under the California Lutheran University SEEd (Sustainable Edible Education) Project Garden was to keep the social media updated. Previously, this involved a Facebook Group and an Instagram page. Under my suggestion, we migrated from a Group to a Facebook Page, and with my assistance also transitioned to involve more of the staff members with posting on social media. I created graphics for the social media handles, and also posted short videos or photos of the garden plants and the chickens from the coop for Instagram Stories. Towards the beginning of 2020, due to the pandemic, we shifted from garden updates to more informative posts about garden care, recipes, and how to start and care for common fruits or vegetables grown in home gardens, providing information to our followers and the campus community through post copy and graphical assets. The attached pictures show posts I’ve made in the past, including promotional posts for the garden’s SEEd Saturday volunteer events, a motivational quote post featuring my photography from the garden.
