I took on the role of Communications Manager temporarily at the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce (OXCC). My weekly responsibilities included editing and sending out the Chamber’s weekly Business Voice newsletter through the use of Constant Contact, as well as monitoring and coordinating posts for social media through the use of HootSuite. In addition, a large part of my job was graphic design related. I created promotional materials for upcoming Chamber and Oxnard Young Professionals (OXYP) events, for use both in print and on social media, using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
